POLICY REGARDING VALTECH SOLUTIONS, INC.’S PARTICIPATION IN EU-U.S. PRIVACY SHIELD FRAMEWORK AND SWISS-U.S. PRIVACY SHIELD FRAMEWORK

(also referred to below as "we," "us," or "our,") complies with the EU-U.S. Privacy Shield Framework and Swiss-U.S. Privacy Shield Framework as set forth by the U.S. Department of Commerce regarding the collection, use, and retention of personal information transferred from the European Union and Switzerland to the United States. Valtech Solutions, Inc. has certified to the Department of Commerce that it adheres to the Privacy Shield Principles. If there is any conflict between the terms in this privacy policy and the Privacy Shield Principles, the Privacy Shield Principles shall govern. Types of Personal Information Collected and Purpose of Collection 

As a visitor to Valtech.com, you do not have to submit any personal information in order to use the website. However, you may choose to provide us with personal information by completing online forms. Such information may consist of, but is not limited to, your name, current job title, company address, email address, telephone number, and other contact information. 

Valtech Solutions, Inc. only collects personal information when voluntarily offered by visitors for specific purposes, such as when visitors provide personal information in connection with a request for information about our services or to subscribe for newsletters or other updates about us, and such purposes will be clearly defined by us at the point of collection. Liability for Onward Transfers 

Valtech Solutions, Inc. is responsible for the processing of personal information it receives under either Privacy Shield Framework, and recognizes its potential liability in the event of onward transfers to third parties. As such, Valtech Solutions, Inc. will not transfer any personal information to any third party without first consulting the Privacy Shield List to ensure that such third party adheres to the Privacy Shield Principles. 

Access to Your Information 

Valtech Solutions, Inc. will provide you access to your personal information held by us. To protect your personal information, we may need to request further information from you to 

verify your identity prior to giving you access to your personal information. However, we will, at your request, correct, amend, or delete information where it is inaccurate, or has been processed in violation of the principles, except where the burden or expense of providing access would be disproportionate to the risks to your privacy, or where the rights of persons other than you would be violated. Dispute or Complaint Resolution 

In compliance with the Privacy Shield Principles, Valtech Solutions, Inc. commits to resolve complaints about our collection or use of your personal information.  Valtech Solutions, Inc. also commits to cooperate with EU data protection authorities (DPAs) and the Swiss Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner (FDPIC) and comply with the advice given by such authorities with regard to human resources and non-human resources data transferred from the EU and Switzerland.

Valtech Solutions, Inc. may be required to disclose personal information in response to lawful requests by public authorities, including to meet national security or law enforcement requirements. 

Changes to Our Policy 

We may modify or amend this Policy from time to time at our discretion, or to address new or modified laws, changes to the EU-U.S. Privacy Shield Framework, changes to the Swiss-U.S. Privacy Shield Framework, or modifications to our business practices or procedures.
