Valtech technically reconfigured the e-shop of fashion label MADELAINE based on SAP hybris Commerce 6.0. The complex replatforming was achieved in less than eight months. In this extensive process, Valtech modernized the fashion retailer’s frontend as well as the backend.
By replacing the previous frontend architecture of the website with a responsive design, customers are now able to comfortably look through the vast offers on their smartphones or tablets.
On the backend, Valtech integrated the existing MADELAINE IT landscape via ERP- and MAM-Systems. In addition, the digital agency implemented completely new middleware as well as a new PIM. The new platform was rolled out in eight countries and five languages. By using Agile and flexible project management of everyone involved in the project, there was almost no downtime during the replatforming.
Simone Voit, Head of eCommerce at MADELEINE Mode GmbH, describes the new web shop as an important step for an even more consistent orientation of the online shop towards customer’s needs:
“With the introduction of hybris Commerce 6.0 we opt for a future-oriented solution considering consistently and strongly growing e-commerce numbers, particularly in the mobile sector. Regardless of the parallel implementation of new interfaces and surrounding systems as well as the complex requirements, the project was finished successfully and quickly. Also, Valtech put into effect enormous customizing efforts.”
